DOG TRAINING & BEHAVIOUR SERVICES
I offer a multitude of training services to tailor to the wide range of people that reach out to me.
If your dog is showing signs of frustration, reactivity, destruction, leash pulling, excessive barking, nervousness, separation anxiety, lack of recall, over-excitement, aggression, or is unsociable with others, I can help you. New dog owners, I’m here for you too. I can show you what to expect from canine ownership, how to set boundaries and how to provide the correct leadership for your furry friend so you can live a harmonious life together from day 1.

No two dogs (or humans) are alike, and occasionally a mix of services may be required to get the desired result. That said, a lot of my clients find that after just one in-person session, they have all the tools they need to continue their dog-training-journey by themselves. I love seeing regular updates from my past clients – they know I’m never further than a phone-call away, and always happy to offer quick advice over the phone.
1:1 CONSULTATION
TRAINING IN YOUR HOME
At home is where people spend the majority of time with their dogs. It’s important that the humans in the home understand what their pup is communicating and how to provide leadership through creating rules, boundaries and limitations.
This is THE most effective option to get the answers, tools and training that you need.
I will come to your home and share my knowledge and experience to turn you into balanced pack leaders. Guaranteed answers to why your dog is behaving the way it is, or the session is free of charge.
I’d always recommend a follow-up session 4-6 weeks after our initial, to make sure both you and your dog/s are embracing your new lifestyle with confidence.

$500 for an initial two-hour session (+ travel)

1:1 CONSULATION
ONLINE TRAINING
I provide a mini-remote session through intro.co. which you can book directly below. Alternatively, longer sessions can be booked directly through me.
In these online training sessions, you can ask any questions you have about dog behaviour and I will demonstrate techniques and provide answers using current dogs in my care.
Although not as effective as being in the same room and experiencing the right energy you will end the session with a greater understanding of your dogs’ behaviour and plenty of new tools and training tips to include in your daily routine.
$150 for a one-hour session.
TRAINING BOOT CAMP
AT MY HOME BASE
I offer training packages for those that need time away from their usual environments to rebalance and reverse unwanted behaviours.
Dogs are assessed at the initial consultation and this option will be recommended, if required. Note, 85% of behavioural problems can be solved without a boot camp with committed and consistent training from the owner/s alongside guidance from Alpha 1.
Boot camps involve the owners throughout the process, and are always followed up with additional consultations, to ensure there is no training regression once dogs arrive back in their familiar home environments.

SEPARATION MEDIATION
Auckland based.
Animals are family, and when a separation occurs, sometimes it’s difficult to decide what’s best for our beloved pets.
Chris will assess all parties separately, and provide a report that determines the best recommended outcome for the dog/s involved.
This generally takes 4-5 hours total, including assessment & report of findings.

DOG TALENT FOR TV, FILM & PHOTOGRAPHY
New Zealand wide.
With access to hundreds of dogs, and experience on film & photography sets for global brands, Alpha 1 can provide the canine talent and training you need for your next big commercial, print advertising campaign or feature film.
Alpha 1 will source and train the dog-stars, and Chris will be bring them to set looking their best and ready to perform.
